Leinfelden-Echterdingen, January 30, 2025 – Novatec Consulting, a leading IT services company specializing in agile software development and digital products, today announced that an agreement has been reached for itsacquisition by CGI Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG, a subsidiary of the globally operating IT and business consulting firm CGI (TSX: GIB.A, NYSE: GIB).

With over 300 employees across eight locations in Germany, including its headquarters in the Stuttgartmetropolitan area, as well as a site in Granada, Spain, Novatec will become an integral part of CGI. As one of the world’s largest IT and business consulting firms, CGI strengthens its local expertise and delivery capabilities withthis acquisition. The transaction was signed on January 29, 2025, and is expected to close in March 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
Since its founding in 1996, Novatec has established itself as a leader in digital strategies, cloud-based solutions, and digital product development. Through the merger with CGI, these competencies will be further expanded,enabling the company to offer customers even more comprehensive services and a broader global reach.
